Building Brands is the community for marketing professionals, living and working in the South West of the UK.
We run events both big and small - our Building Brands Live conferences are the biggest marketing events across the region! But we’re also developing events for every part of the industry, from Heads of Agencies to in house marketers and to young marketers and freelancers too. We run training masterclasses, send out email newsletters and white papers, run a Slack community for members, and have lots more exciting developments coming shortly. We’re here essentially to connect people, to inspire them, and to help them develop current and new skills. Membership’s free, and we’d love to have you join us!

Building Brands Live - Exeter
Exeter has traditionally been our biggest event every year, and we’re excited to be bringing it back again this year, with loads of great speakers, connection and networking opportunities, and a great venue too!
Alongside the conference talks, we’ll again be bringing lots of marketing related exhibition stands. These were a huge hit last year, and we’re looking forward to introducing you to some new faces this year.
We’ll be hosting the event this year at Sandy Park Conference Centre in Exeter, just off the M5, with tons of car parking and easy access from the M5. Helping our environment
We wanted to do something that would have an immediate impact on the environment. Trees are awesome and we should all be planting more of them. But they take quite a while to really start absorbing carbon.
Meanwhile the oceans are in a terrible state, with so much plastic now floating on the surface and unfortunately killing and injuring sealife. So, we’re supporting The Ocean Cleanup, with donations for every person that comes to one of our paid events. They aim to remove 90% of floating ocean plastic. We’re also going to try and organise some beach cleans that members can join us on!
